Labor Day weekend we drove out to Bertram for the Oatmeal Festival. I remember going when we lived in Liberty Hill and thinking the crop duster throwing out oatmeal was pretty funny. We took Coralee for the first time last year. I will say that being 36 weeks pg at the time was probably not the best way to enjoy the parade but it was worth it for my girl! We passed on the festival part and stopped in Seward Junction for some BBQ.... at least they have fans at Donn's BBQ.
