Even more patch pics

More Patch Pics

Sweet Berry Farms Pumpkin Patch

We had such a great time with the Clarks at the pumpkin patch. Coralee let a few of those white pumpkins loose from off of the bed frame but other than that we didn't have any problems. She enjoyed feeding the goats and riding the tractor and of course playing with her friends. We had a picnic lunch and then a "special treat" of pumpkin and berry berry ice cream (two separate ones, not together). They were delicious and I can't wait to go back this summer and pick berries!

At least it's just water

I gave Coralee her Shamu cup and she poured a good bit of the water all over herself.... declaring "Mess!" Really? Could you say it was a mess? Silly girl!

Play Group at the Park

We met Jaime and Heather I. at the park for a picnic and some time to play. That crazy dinosaur doesn't move very easily.... it takes some Momma power to make it bounce. It was kind of funny.... Coralee kept saying that it didn't work. She LOVED that caterpillar and was a little possessive of it when other kids wanted to ride. The metal slide was the best. Sometimes she wouldn't slow herself down and would plop right off the end onto the ground. I just had to have a picture of her on a metal slide.... you don't see that much!

Trip to Dallas

One of my online friends, Becky, and her family were in Dallas for a wedding. I got to meet her in Kansas City back in February and she's just the best! So we just had to go see them since they were so close. We met at my favorite mall.... North Park Center. I love that mall more for the way they decorate it than the actual stores. One of my favorite things (and the kids as well) is the pond with turtles and ducks. Too much fun! We walked around the mall for a while, let the kids play at a toy store and then ate lunch. It was a fun morning!

Visit to Aunt Laura's

Ken did recruiting for NI at Lamar so Coralee and I busied ourselves with visiting family. So, we went to see Aunt Laura one of those days. The new thing is "detoxing"

so Mom was doing that and had her feet in a tub of water. Coralee knows all about "pedicures" so she had to have her feet in water too. She graduated to wanting to sit in the water so Aunt Laura got her a bucket. She made a HUGE mess of water all over the floor and my Aunt Laura.... the neat freak.... let her! She just said to get towels! Total surprise to me!

Round Rock Donuts

Ken got in a fender bender and a Dodge Ram smooshed my back bumper a little so we spent a Saturday morning returning the rental and picking up the car. We felt a little guilty when we picked it up and it had been washed & detailed..... someone had to work hard on that! It was a mess! Anyway, we stopped to get some breakfast at Round Rock Donuts. Coralee's is a big fan of Rudy's pigs in a blanket.... or "hot dog" as she calls them. She enjoyed the donut holes much more than she did the "pig". She did enjoy eating more of her Daddy's sausage wrap because the bread is like the ones at Rudy's. Chocolate milk was, as always, her favorite!

First Peanut Butter Sandwich

I've waited until she was 2 to have her first PB & J because of the fear of allergies. Granted, she's had little bits of PB at different times. I just feel guilty about giving her strawberries early and decided I had to wait on the PB. Silly I know! She's a fan for sure..... who could blame her?

Flamingo Costume

I found a big bargain at Toys R Us when I was buying diapers. This was obviously from last year..... $7! I couldn't make anything for that price!

Playing at the Park

Doesn't she look cute in her new hat?

New Duds

She wore her birthday dress to church the next morning.... SO cute still! That night we dressed her in a new out fit from a friend.... she LOVES the puppy dog on the front of the shirt!

One of her other new favorites (and she requests wearing it almost every day) is her "Mimi's Princess" shirt. Of course when Mimi calls she only wants to talk to Paw Paw. Guess a princess can make that request!

The Aftermath

Well, our girlie is definitely a girlie girl! She loves lipstick, tiaras, earrings, purses, shoes, you name it! Wonder where she gets that from? Not me! ;-) That afternoon we went to dinner at Chili's with the family before heading to one of Coralee's friend's birthday party. Keegan & Gyorgyi sent her this beautiful dress from Hungary. I thought it would be really cute to put it with jeans. I'd look silly walking around like that but when you're a toddler you're always cute! She wasn't happy with me in that one picture because I fixed her hair. She didn't want me to mess with it! Two is so much fun some times! ;-)
