Ken took Coralee out for their first date night last Thursday. She requested "Chuy's" so they went and ate and then took a trip to Target. Exciting night! Oh, and this hair do is "Beauty" hair (as in Sleeping Beauty). :-)

Cinderella
Coralee is obsessed with wearing her Cinderella dress... and her Cinderella night gown. It's a bit of a battle to get her to get out of them. Yesterday on the way home from church, she had taken her shoes off and was talking to Cinderella on her shoe. As you can see, she likes to redecorate the living room with toys and scatter her Memory Game (why on earth did I buy that?) all over the floor. We're just hoping the Cinderella dress lasts long enough to be worn for Halloween next year! Ken's a little concerned the glitter is going to be gone by then.
New Fancy Dress
I bought this dress with the intent of it being Coralee's Christmas dress next year. I'm afraid it won't fit by then, though, so she wore it to church last week. We'll go this afternoon to take pictures for Valentine's in it as well. She loved wearing her "ballerina" dress. At church, she showed everyone her tights, too. What could be more exciting?
My excuse for being behind on the blog......
We found out on January 22 that we're expecting again in late September. I've been trying to make sure I napped when Coralee does in hopes that I won't be too terribly cranky. That's seriously cutting out of my computer time! We're very excited and relieved that it didn't take nearly as long this time. Coralee is excited since she's "going big sister". Ken thinks she thinks she's going somewhere. She also says, "Mommy wants baby sister, I want baby brother." At least someone will be happy no matter what. ;-) I've been having weekly blood work to check my progesterone levels. Like with Coralee, they've dipped and I'm taking progesterone suppositories now. My first ob appointment is February 20 which seemed like forever and ever from the day I talked to the nurse. I can't believe it's less than two weeks away! I've been feeling really good and even better since starting the progesterone. However, I had a pukey spell last night but I'm thinking (and hoping) it was just what I ate (a combo pizza at Schlotsky's). Still a little puny today but no more puking. I don't like puking! I didn't do any of that in the first trimester with Coralee so this is just plain weird to me.
Sparkly Shoes
Ballerina Hair Do & Paper Airplanes
On Wednesday of the ice week, I decided to try to do something different with Coralee's hair. So, I told her I'd give her "ballerina" hair. She thought that was great. For lunch, I had Ken get out and get us some Whataburger..... I was tired of cooking! Coralee's kid's meal came with paper airplanes that she and Ken put together. Notice her hair didn't last through the day. :-)
Snow & Ice
I don't know if I remember a time in my whole life where we had several days in a row in the house because of ice. Usually one day is all it takes to get above freezing enough to melt the ice. Well, this storm was different and we had 3 days inside. I've never been more excited to get out than I was on that Thursday! Coralee had a great time in the ice/snow! Gotta love a girl in a parka!
