Busted

I left Coralee watching TV so I could shower and this is how I found her.... sitting in her baby stroller. We've told her that she's too big for it but it's obviously a little too tempting!

Dressed for church

Recently when I ask Ken to get a picture of Coralee in her dress, she has started posing bear in the stroller. Too cute! Of course, gotta love the sunglasses! Who can resist sparkly pink sunglasses?

Play Group at Zilker Nature & Science Center

Just love that place! Coralee decided she needed to put her jacket on all by herself..... she does well getting her arms in but obviously has some issues. ;-)

Potty Princess!

We have reached a milestone.... poo poo in the potty! Woohoo! Ken has Coralee potty before her bath and she's doing great with that..... not so good with Mommy usually and it's my fault for leaving her in her bed too long after she wakes up in the morning or from nap (just 5 more minutes for Mommy, please!). So, this morning I missed the tee tee first thing (Coralee says... 'don't want to') and then offered the potty after breakfast. She is very interested in my green plastic tiara and light up feather boa so last week I told her she could be the potty princess if she'd sit on the potty. While on the potty, she could wear the tiara and if she did anything in the potty she could wear the boa. We sat for a good while and nothing. She fussed because she wanted the boa and I told her that she could wear it after she pottied. Well, I left the room (poor girl needed some privacy) and heard some straining. Sure enough, she had poo pooed! Woohoo for potty victory!

Social at the Park

Our class had a social at one of the parks by the house. Brrr was it cold when the sun went down! I wasn't prepared for that. Anyway, we had a great time. Ken and Brent had a little too much fun on the horse merry go round! ;-) Even Tucker had a ride! What a sweet dog he is! We had to take Oscar home b/c he was being ugly to Tucker.

Jump, jump, jump!

Coralee has never been one for jumpers until lately. At the Fall Fest, she decided it was okay to get in with Colston & Hudson. Well, she had no problems on Saturday with Natalie and even by herself. Hmmm.... we'll have to go to Inflatable Wonderland again soon! Oscar was concerned about being left and must have been a little tired, too, from the walk since he took a seat in the stroller. Silly dog!

Coralee's First 5K

Our church is hosting the Southern Baptists of Texas Conference this year and there were several special events leading up to the conference this week. One of the events was a 5K that raised money for an AIDS charity in South Africa. Because of the charity part and the fact that some friends were walking, too, we decided to do it. It really was a lot of fun. Of course the winner was done with the course by the time we got to the 1 mile mark. ;-) Oscar was a freak.... he had to be the leader of the pack or he would cry. Of course I'm guessing the strollers freaked him out a bit!

Cinderella

Yesterday we went to the mall for pajamas. Needless to say I didn't find them but I did find this Cinderella costume at the Disney store. Pretty happy with my $10 (instead of $39.50) purchase. And of course, Coralee's thrilled too. We had to try it on and show Daddy when he got home. When she woke up this morning and saw the Cinderella dress, she immediately felt the need to wear it. So, we put it on until breakfast.

Feeling Cheesy

Coralee loves mac & cheese.... can you tell? And that dirty look she's giving, she does it all the time during meals. I'm afraid I'm seeing the mirror image of my "mean Momma" look.

Botanical Gardens

One of my favorite places to go is the botanical gardens. For whatever reason, we hadn't been in a long time so we took a family trip last Saturday. Of course we had to go over to Zilker to ride the train and play as well. I made a giant boo boo and thought Ken had left the camera so all of these pictures are from my phone. I wasn't nice about that at all. Come to find out, the camera was in my back pack all along. Ugh! Talk about feel stupid and terrible for being ugly!
