Johnson City

We went to the Light Parade in Johnson City Saturday night and also saw the lights that Pedernales Electric Co-op puts up on their headquarters. Coralee had her first experience with Santa, too, and was a little upset by the whole thing. I could have made it better if I would have let her walk up to him and gone a little slower. I was too worried about the line. Maybe we'll do better at the mall! After seeing what there was to see in Johnson City, we drove to Marble Falls to see their Trail of Lights. Gotta love small towns! We'd have more pictures but we took a ton last year!

Wildseed Farms

After the parade we drove out to Wildseed Farms near Fredericksburg. Coralee had a good time looking at the pretties and most importantly the kitties there. Only bad thing was she wanted to pet the cactus! Silly girl!

Chuy's Parade for Children

We have a family tradition of going to the parade the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year we parked Mom & Bubba's van in a space and then went to Hoover's for breakfast. We were running a little late so we didn't get a primo view but it was just fine. Coralee was in desperate need of a nap so she didn't look too happy. Her big excitement was the Oak Farms cow float and the Chuy's fish. Sadly, the Elmo balloon wasn't there this year. She would have been excited about him I'm sure!

Christmas Card Picture

We weren't going to make the mistake of not taking the picture while we had help. Last year took 50 tries and #47 was the one. Very frustrating!

Thanksgiving Meal

While it wasn't truly her first Thanksgiving, it was her first Thanksgiving on solid foods. She really enjoyed the ham, rolls and macaroni & cheese. Thankfully no mac & cheese hairstyling happened that day!

Pre-Thanksgiving

Ken took the day off on Wednesday to help me get ready for everything. We went to McDonald's for breakfast and let Coralee play in the play scape. Next we went to check out a nearby park. She absolutely loves the little bridges and driving!
