Feeding the ducks & geese

There's a park not too far from here with a nice little pond and some ducks and geese. I decided we should go feed them. Thankfully it was a good experience although I was a little paranoid with the geese. They were a little too close for comfort to me and I just knew they were going to chase after us when the bread was gone. They didn't but I still don't trust them! Coralee thought it was the neatest thing although I didn't let her feed them much. She doesn't throw very far and I was scared they'd get her! Yes, Mom, I do have my paranoid & worried moments! I felt much better when the fowl were swimming!

A Chocolate Easter Bunny

Coralee got to enjoy her chocolate bunny from Grandma & Grandpa this weekend. She thought it was pretty yummy!

Saturday Fun

Coralee was so cute reading Pat the Bunny I had to include the picture for this day. We had a Sunday School social at Ron & Jen's and Coralee had her first jump on a trampoline. She thought it was great fun since she had just been to Inflatable Wonderland earlier in the week. Can you believe we forgot the camera that day? I'll blame it on the pelting rain and later hail! Imagine me running into Sears holding my 28+ lb daughter! She took a while to warm up but eventually was jumping and having a great time. Anyway, back to Saturday, she loved playing "Ring Around the Rosey" with Mrs. Jen and the kids.

Biscuits & Chocolate Gravy

I had seen recipes for chocolate gravy before but thought it didn't sound quite right. My friend Heather talked about making it and I know I can trust her! We went to Central Market for lunch after church a few weeks ago and they had Chocolate Gravy & Biscuits in honor of the Biscuit Brothers having a concert that afternoon. So, I put it on my list of things to make. Coralee was quite in love! She didn't even want to eat her strawberries and that's a big deal! Of course, add a little chocolate gravy and she was more than happy to eat them!

Take Coralee out to the Ball Game

We had SO much fun last night at the Round Rock Express Game! She kept saying, "Ball.... yay ball!" and clapping and dancing. She was restless but thankfully we had plenty of room around us so it wasn't a problem. She enjoyed the chocolate & marshmallow sno cone, too! She was exhausted by the time they started the fireworks and could barely keep her eyes open. Poor little thing!

Bubble Bath in Mommy's Tub

We've been having really rough times when I try to bathe her on Mondays while Ken is at church for FAITH. So, I decided to completely change things around and give her a bath in our tub. She was much happier this week although she's not sure about the bubbles just yet!

Easter Dinner

We went to Mom & Bubba's for Easter BBQ. It was delicious as usual and Coralee had a wonderful time playing outside for so long! She also made a giant mess with her baked beans. Isn't she cute?

Easter Baskets

She had fun with her baskets and all the new toys. Of course, that morning the first thing she asked for was numma nummas! Gotta love the chocolate! She was ready to open a piece for breakfast.

Easter Bunny Cake at Grammy's

Coralee was very happy to help with the bunny cake aka eat M & Ms or numma nummas as she calls them. She like playing with Ginger the cat and Aunt "Law-ee" as she's been calling her. She also tried to kick Aunt C out of the recliner showing how pushing people out of the way isn't just something for her little friends!

Bluebonnets

We stopped on our way home for Easter near Brenham to take pictures in the bluebonnets. Coralee thought the flowers were really pretty but she didn't exactly want to pose. Too exciting to see all the cars going by on the road!
