Lovin' Bear & Stella

Coralee spent all of the day on Wednesday running around the house with her stroller. She also has a new love for Bear since her paci is gone.

A Bagel & a Munkin, Please

I made muffins and Coralee was really happy. She also really likes bagels. I came in from making my breakfast and she had both hands full. You know that she really likes something when she eats it before her fruit!

More Paci Farewell Photos

Saying "Bye" to Paci

Tuesday we had the big farewell to paci party. Actually we tried it out the night before and she cried for an hour and a half before she went to sleep. She'd ask "Where paci go?" and want water and talk to her stuffed animals. I had tried during nap but gave in because of the pitiful look on her face. Ken said it looked like she thought, "Why on earth won't you give me my paci?"

Anyway, we gave baby Evie all the pacis. We didn't get in touch with Teresa so we just left them on the door. She was a little upset about leaving the bag but didn't seem to be too upset about the pacis. It did upset her when I bonked her head on the door, though. I gave her a bag with a new pillowcase and that helped a little. Next we took a trip to Target and bought a stroller for baby Stella. She was very excited about that! Then we went to Chick fil a for dinner where we happened to see Jacob & Shannon and the boys. Coralee had fun playing with them.

It took her about an hour to go to sleep. She didn't cry for paci but did cry for the stroller as Ken was taking her upstairs.

A New Toy

Coralee has been so excited playing with this toy we borrowed from a friend. She loved this new castle.

Swim Lessons

Coralee had swim lessons the past two weeks with Jaime & Jacob. She was always excited about seeing them as well as Jaime's Grandma..... whom she called Grandpa. It was extra exciting this day since Daddy was there.

Play Group at Robin's

Well, it was originally at Brushy Creek Lake Park but it was a zoo there (5 school buses full on top of all the other kiddos) and at one point it stopped working and wouldn't come back on again. So..... we retreated to Robin's neighborhood pool which was a lot less hectic. Everyone had a great time splashing around in the baby pool.

Making Pizza

We had fun making pizza at home for lunch. Coralee helped squash the biscuits; I put the sauce on top and then she sprinkled the cheese. What a big helper!

Earrings

I don't know what Ken's deal is with putting links or rings or Easter eggs on kids ears but it seems to be something he likes to do! These are Mrs. Potato Head's but Coralee loved wearing them.

Pool Party

This week it was just us Clover Ridge girls for Mom Time so we had everyone over for burgers and hot dogs. The kids had a blast in the pool although Coralee wouldn't get in after the boys got there.

Our First TP incident

I think we did well that she was over 20 months before she messed with the toilet paper. Not too big of a mess. Her biggest thing was putting on Daddy's deodorant. It was mostly empty but she smelled pretty manly that afternoon! Stella is in the process of learning to use the potty, too.

Play Group - Nature & Science Center

I didn't do so well getting pictures that day. Coralee decided that she wanted to throw sand on one of her friends and got in trouble. Bad news, I tell you!

Spaghetti

We were prepared for full contact spaghetti eating but it didn't get too messy! She did abandon the fork pretty quickly, though!

Playing & Eating

Coralee LOVES her Fisher Price Castle. Notice that the queen is having her dinner al fresco! The king and queen & their thrones tend to travel all through the house.
