Coralee's Easter Dress

I found it last week at a consignment store but passed it up since it said that it had stains. I saw a tiny one but was having some laundry issues and decided it wasn't worth it. Well, today I went back and am so happy that it was still there! Here's her $8.99 dress!!!

An Outdoor Girl

I am not usually an outdoor person but Coralee loves to be outside so I'm trying to do better especially since the weather is so nice! She cries and pitches fits when it's time to come inside. We found a picnic table at Goodwill for $5.99 and although it's not in the most beautiful shape it is definitely useful at that price! Coralee never would sit down at it this evening but she had fun with it. She didn't want it to be on the porch, though, for some unknown reason. We did some yard work and she got to see her first lizard, doodle bug and dandelion. She had a blast paintint the driveway with water but got upset when I tried to move it and spilled the whole bowl of water all over herself. She was pretty good about staying in the yard although I did have to chase her occasionally. Such a fun time!

A Picnic With Mommy

We ate lunch at the park today and then Coralee had a chance to play on a more appropriately sized playground. Her favorite is still the bridge! Silly girl! She would go into the tube but wouldn't go down the slide by herself.... I think she only wants to do that with Daddy!

What a cutie

My Mom bought her this dress in San Antonio. Isn't it adorable? We went to lunch after church and she zonked out in the car and didn't wake up at all on the way in the house. Poor baby!

Playing at the Park in Lumberton

We tried to go to the Lumberton McDonalds but the Play Place was completely nasty so we went to the community park instead. It was a little high (some places were above my head) but Coralee thought it was wonderful! Her favorite was the bridge which Mommy couldn't handle easily because it was so steep!

New Sandals and Sunglasses

I went on a shopping spree at Target and bought Coralee her sunglasses and new sandals. She already looked adorable in her little dress from Grammy! She was absolutely adorable leaning up against Daddy with her bear and Baby Stella. Oscar was a little nervous when she started trying to share with him, though!

Kite Festival '06

What a fun afternoon! We went to the festival with the Mitchells & Clarks. The kids had so much fun running around and being silly. Before anyone worries that they were playing near the road... it was closed for the festival! ;-) Coralee was far more interested in the dogs than any of the kites.

Pancakes & Painting at Aunt Teresa's

We went over for breakfast and Coralee had the best time. She gobbled up the pancakes and sausage and had a blast painting. I hate to admit that I hadn't tried painting in a long time and that we hadn't ever painted with a paint brush. The funny thing was that she wanted me to get the paint on her brush for her.... just like she likes to have help loading her spoon or fork!

3 Outfits - One Day

We started the day with an NI onesie and shorts for playing outside. It was her first time to color with sidewalk chalk and she loved it! It was a little messy, though!Next, I wasn't paying attention to her and she found her leftover ketchup from lunch and proceeded to get it all over her face and dress. It was absolutely precious! Our first big toddler mess! I had been worried about whether or not she'd fit in some of the things I bought last summer because they were 18 months and she is wearing 24 months most of the time. I was so excited that this outfit fit her! She loves playing "tea" with her kitchen set and is a big fan of her "neighs" as well.

Ready to Go

Another Gymboree outfit.... definitely Mommy's favorite! We took these before going to church for Bible study yesterday. Coralee is having a great time playing with her friends although the lack of a morning nap makes her zonk out on the way home. She's likes to go "bye-bye" in general and LOVES giving Oscar his treat. Of course, some days she tries to eat his treats or she just wants to hold it for a while. He's reasonably patient with her. It's so cute because we'll go to close the laundry room door and I'll tell her to say "bye-bye to Oscar and tell him you love him" and she'll blow him a kiss and wave! SO cute!

At the Park

It was a beautiful day so we met Daddy at the park. Coralee had a great time on the horses or "neigh" as she calls them! She also loves anything with a steering wheel.... are we in trouble or what?

I'm thirsty!

Coralee has worked out a routine to let us know she wants her sippy. She goes over to the refrigerator, grabs the handle and whines. Then she sits down on the floor because we try to make her sit down while she's drinking.
