Father's Day for Real

Coralee and I made breakfast for Daddy..... donuts (made from refrigerator biscuits), eggs with cheese and orange juice with mango. We had a great day including lunch with friends at Fujiyama. Lincoln had his first piece of sushi which he loved. I did make Ken eat the raw fish. Lincoln usually doesn't eat when we go to lunch after church but he was very entertained by the chef cooking in front of us and he ate great. We all took a nap at home and then had dinner at Catfish Parlour. We have a tradition of going there for Father's Day and have been each year since I was pregnant with Coralee. They are usually closed on Sundays except for Father's Day, Mother's Day and Valentines if it happens to be on a Sunday. What says love like fried food? They always give away a gift and this year it was a koozie. Previous years have included a fishing lure key chain and an auto repair kit aka duct tape. Ken was hoping for another roll of duct tape since his from 5 years ago is almost gone. Lincoln enjoyed looking at all of the "stuff" on the walls and really enjoyed the hushpuppies. Coralee enjoyed making her own Caesar salad.
