A couple of weeks ago I had the brilliant idea to make their Easter outfits. Really, they were pretty simple outfits. They aren't perfect but at this point, they're done in time for pictures on Thursday so that's all that matters. I had three frustrating problems with these projects - 1) button holes (will use snaps next time) 2) no zipper foot (not good when you're sewing a zipper and need them for the snap tape (will not use snap tape again - totally a pain. I'd rather hand sew a dozen snaps) and 3) the pattern called for 3" ribbon and I couldn't find any in navy. Like sewing needed any more frustrations. Now to just see them in the outfits. Oh, and to get Link a white polo. Guess we'll make a trip to Carter's tomorrow.
