Our Labor Day project was replacing the front door. The wood on the bottom had rotted out in the old one and made it difficult to shut. We bought the door back in May and finally got it put in. Thankfully Grandma & Grandpa had evacuated because of Hurricane Gustav. Mimi & Paw Paw tried to come but it took 2 hours to go 8 miles and they turned around and went back home. Anyway, it took the majority of the day to get the door in but it looks great and it closes beautifully. What a luxury in comparison to the old door/lock. Coralee dressed herself in two shirts in case she got sweaty and had a little fun with Daddy's safety glasses.
