Mimi & Paw Paw visit

We try to have the grandparents take turns coming up and watching the kids for our anniversary - December 21. It's also good because we can have them bring up the Christmas gifts beforehand so we don't have to worry about getting them back here. I keep telling everyone that my car, although small, is perfect for getting around town but it stinks for travelling - especially at Christmas. Anyway, we had a great visit with Mimi & Paw Paw. Coralee was SO excited about opening gifts that evening they got here. I really didn't realize how much fun it is to see Christmas through your child's eyes - it seems to get better every year. She was thrilled to get a buggy and tea cart and had a lot of fun opening Lincoln's gifts as well. The next morning Mimi & Coralee made cookies which is always fun and Corale ate way too many M & M's which is what Mimi's are for. Ken took the day off since it was our anniversary and we were able to go to the movies (we saw Charlie Wilson's War which was neat since he was the congressman for Vidor before the big, evil Republican re-districting a few years ago) and then dinner that night.
