We had fought for weeks about her using the potty. She just flat out refused to sit on the potty when I asked. We started a new "system" of happy and sad marbles in a jar. If she used the potty, she got 3 happy marbles moved from the sad marbles. After all the marbles are in the happy marble jar, we would go and do something fun. I don't know if it was that or just her deciding she wanted to potty. What I do know is that the happy marbles work really well for having her obey and that makes me happy! This morning, she wanted books in the bathroom. She sat there for SO long (since she "read" all of those books) but did eventually use the potty! Hooray!
