Caterpillar Picnic

After we were finished at the garden, we went across the street to Zilker for our picnic. I had read the idea a year or so ago using this book. You were supposed to make kabobs essentially with the objects..... one apple slice, 2 pear slices, 3 plums, 4 strawberries, 5 orange slices...... you get the picture. She loved the picnic. The funniest thing was that she balked at the idea of the salami. After I ate a few bites, she decided maybe it wasn't so bad and ended up eating the rest of the salami. Woohoo for eating meat.... nasty meat but meat nonetheless!
